How to save my favorites / Watchlist?
Long press (press and hold your select button) on movies, series, or live tv channels to add to favorites.
Do the same process to remove them.
How to remove a recently viewed item?
While the item is highlighted, long press (press and hold the select button) and click on watched.
To remove ALL recently viewed items go to settings / scroll down and click on "Clear Recently Watched."
This will delete ALL recently viewed items including Movies/Shows.
How to exit the app properly?
Navigate to the icon menu on the left side of the screen and scroll to the bottom. You will find the option to exit there. Press on it and confirm you would like to exit the app.
How to add another profile?
On the left side icon menu scroll to the top (your current profile avatar and username) press it and then click on Add / Switch User.
Press the + Circle (Add Profile) and then enter your name, pick an avatar, and then click on continue.
You can add up to 4 profiles.
How to modify your profile?
On the left icon menu scroll to the top (Your username / profile avatar) press it and then press and hold on your Profile Avatar and select Edit or Delete.
How to browse channels while watching Live TV?
While watching a live TV press left on your remote and you can pick other channels in that category or select another category and browse through its channels.
How to select a recently watched channel?
While watching live TV press right on your remote and your recent channel history will show.
You can select channels from that history.
The history will reflect your 10 previously viewed channels.
How to view more than one channel?
Go to Live Tv and then click on MultiView and pick your channels there.
MultiView functionality scales with your total number of subscribed connections, as each active stream is counted individually.

Adjusting this setting changes how the application utilizes your device's internal video decoding components to eliminate buffering, screen freezing, or audio synchronization drops.

Mode Breakdowns & Troubleshooting Rules
Default Mode
When to use: Standard setting for all newly installed installations.
How it works: Automatically evaluates system hardware capabilities and matches it to factory-recommended rendering pipelines. Leave it on Default unless glitches occur.
Amlogic / Fire TV Mode
When to use: Shift immediately to this layout if using any Amazon Fire TV Stick, Fire Cube, or Android hardware utilizing Amlogic architecture.
How it works: Overrides default generic protocols to force specific acceleration pathways optimized directly for Amazon's specialized media processing layers.
Stable Mode
When to use: Select this if the application experiencing sudden application dropouts or freezes completely during high-bandwidth streaming profiles.
How it works: Trades off bleeding-edge visual post-processing enhancements for high-reliability streaming. Drops processing load down to conservative, stable limits.
Low Latency Mode
When to use: Optimal for live sporting events, direct news broadcasts, or multi-view panel windows where real-time accuracy matters.
How it works: Shrinks the media buffering safety window down to minimal limits. Requires a hardwired Ethernet connection and fast system architecture to prevent micro-stutter loops.
High Compatibility Mode
When to use: Ultimate diagnostic fallback for older Android boxes, deprecated custom firmware, or legacy built-in smart TV engines.
How it works: Shifts specialized video decoding workflows directly into a universal, generic rendering safe-mode to guarantee a picture loads.
Where to Locate Settings in the Lunova Player App
To adjust these settings apply the following structural menu path:
- Open the Lunova Player application on your media device home screen.
- On the home screen, navigate to the Left-Side Menu panel.
- Scroll downward along the sidebar options and select the gear icon labeled Settings.
- Inside the primary settings configuration pane, scroll to the Playback section.
- Locate Playback Compatibility Mode and if it's off, click to toggle it on.
- Next select Playback Compatibility to open the list options, and select your preferred operating layout.
